Plain‑English summary (not a contract): We collect only what we need to deliver your program, keep families safe, and improve our Services. Parents are our customers; teens participate under the parent’s authorization. We don’t sell your data. You can opt out of marketing, request access or deletion, and control certain data uses. See the detailed sections below for full information and your state‑specific rights.

1) Scope & Who is Responsible

This Privacy Policy explains how Made For Greatness collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the Services, purchase our products, participate in coaching or communities, or interact with us.
Controller: Made For Greatness is the data controller for your information, except where we act as a processor/service provider to another organization.

2) Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information (depending on how you use the Services):

  • Identifiers & contact: name, email, phone number, postal address, parent/guardian details.

  • Account & profile: login credentials, profile photo, time zone, preferences.

  • Household/participant info: teen’s first name and age bracket (e.g., “15–16”), parent/guardian name and relationship.

  • Program data: enrollments, attendance, progress notes, submissions, homework, and community posts/messages.

  • Payment & transaction: order history, billing address, last‑4 digits & card brand via our payment processors (we don’t store full card numbers).

  • Communications: support emails, call/chat records, testimonials (with appropriate consent).

  • Device & usage: IP address, device type, browser, app telemetry, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and coarse location (derived from IP), collected via cookies/SDKs.

  • Audio/video: recordings of live sessions only when recording is announced and consented; you may disable camera/mic or leave.

  • Sensitive information: We do not seek sensitive categories (e.g., government IDs, precise geolocation, health/medical records). If you voluntarily provide sensitive information (e.g., context about a teen’s needs), we will use it only to support the program and for safety and legal compliance.

3) Sources of Information

  • Directly from you (checkout, forms, calls/chats, emails).

  • From your teen, with your authorization.

  • Automatically from devices (cookies/SDKs, analytics).

  • From service providers we use to operate the Services (e.g., payment processing, video conferencing, email delivery, hosting, analytics).

4) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  1. Provide the Services (set up accounts, deliver content, host sessions, process payments, provide support).

  2. Safety & moderation (protect participants; investigate policy violations; meet legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests).

  3. Improve & personalize (feature development, analytics, troubleshooting, quality assurance).

  4. Communicate (transactional emails/texts; program updates; renewal and policy notices).

  5. Marketing with consent (newsletters, promotions—you may unsubscribe at any time).

  6. Compliance (tax, accounting, contracts, and recordkeeping).

5) Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember settings and analyze usage. Where required, we request consent. You can control cookies via your browser settings. We do not run behaviorally targeted ads to teens in our programs.

6) Disclosing Information

We share limited information with:

  • Service providers/Processors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., payments, hosting, email/SMS, video/audio platforms, community platforms, analytics, customer support). They may only use data as instructed by us.

  • Other participants when you or your teen choose to interact in group sessions or community spaces (e.g., your display name, messages you post).

  • Parent/Guardian (our customer) for program administration, safety, and billing. We may share participation status and safety‑related information with the parent/guardian.

  • Legal & safety when required by law or to protect participants and our Services (e.g., mandated reporting, court orders, fraud/security events).

  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information remains protected under this Policy or a successor equivalent policy).

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising where prohibited for teens. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required notices/choices.

7) Teen & Children’s Privacy

  • Age limits. Our programs are designed for ages 14–19. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has provided information, we will delete it and may disable access. Parents who believe their child under 13 has provided information should contact team@madeforgreatness.co.

  • Teen participation under parent authorization. The parent/guardian is the customer and authorizes the teen’s participation. We expect parents to review this Policy with their teen.

  • Recording & messaging. We announce recordings in advance; teens may disable camera/mic or leave. One‑to‑one messaging between staff and teens follows our safety and escalation rules.

  • Parental visibility. We may provide parents a reasonable view into their teen’s participation for administration and safety. We balance family visibility with teen dignity and safety.

8) Your Privacy Choices

  • Marketing opt‑outs. Unsubscribe from emails via our footer link or email team@madeforgreatness.co. For SMS, reply STOP to opt out.

  • Cookies/analytics. Control via your browser. You may also use device settings to limit ad tracking.

  • Opt‑out of sale/sharing (where applicable). We do not sell/share personal information. If you wish to exercise an opt‑out right or submit a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will honor it to the extent required by law.

9) Your Rights (U.S.)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a portable copy, opt‑out of certain processing (e.g., targeted advertising/sale), and appeal our decisions. To make a request, email team@madeforgreatness.co with:

  • the right(s) you want to exercise;

  • your account email; and

  • enough information for us to verify your identity (and parent/guardian authorization, if the request concerns a teen).
Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Appeal.” We will review and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10) “Notice at Collection” (U.S. State Disclosures)

Addendum: U.S. State‑Specific Rights (Quick Reference)

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other U.S. states provide additional privacy rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt‑out of sale/targeted advertising/profiling, and limited use of sensitive data). If these apply to you, use the request process in Section 9.
Teen protections. Certain states restrict targeted advertising or selling personal data of consumers aged 13–16 without appropriate consent. We design our teen Services to avoid these practices and will seek consent where required.

Addendum: Minors’ Content Removal (if you post UGC)

If a minor posts content in a publicly viewable area of our Services, they may request removal by contacting team@madeforgreatness.co. This does not ensure complete removal (e.g., if reposted by others or required by law).

Internal Implementation Notes (remove before publishing)

  • Confirm cookie banner/controls and analytics list.

  • Confirm whether any cross‑context behavioral advertising is used; if yes, add a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and webform, and implement Global Privacy Control (GPC) detection.

  • Verify SMS provider and 10DLC registration (for marketing texts). Add privacy disclosures to SMS flows.

  • Insert mailing address and update any third‑party lists as needed.

  • Align with your Terms of Service, Purchase/Subscription Terms, Parent/Guardian Coaching Agreement, Teen Participant Agreement & Code of Conduct, and Community Guidelines.
